Haywire wins Bandslam!

Our band’s name is “HAYWIRE” and the members are:
Jackson Boswell, Claudia Butler, Sam Tebutt, Matthew McFadden

The band entered the Band Slam competition in Hamilton on Friday 4 August. We finished the competition at 10:30pm we got really good results. It was really cool seeing all the other bands with a lot of different styles. We could see what worked well and what didn’t.

Matthew won Best Guitarist, Jackson won Best Drummer and...we won the competition!!!

We were able to score $250 which we believe should go to our music department.
It was a great night and everyone enjoyed it!
